Jennifer Koslovich :: General
Music Teacher
Jennifer Koslovich teaches General Music classes at the elementary school level. This is her third year of teaching with Trenton Public Schools. Miss Koslovich holds a B.A. in Music Education from Michigan State University where she played the clarinet in the Symphony Band, the saxophone in the Spartan Marching Band and was president of the music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota. Jennifer states, "I chose to teach elementary music because the early years of a childs life are the most important for creating a music environment and establishing a foundation for music learning. As a music educator, not only do I teach the students music, but I am also responsible for building, maintaining, and improving a child's lifelong potential to learn music."

Shannon Kelley :: Choir Director
Shannon Kelley is the Music Director for 7th Grade Choir, 8th Grade Choir at Arthurs as well as Director for Choirs at Trenton
High School. Miss Kelley had been teaching for 5 years in Bronson, Michigan
before coming to Trenton two years ago. Originally from McBain, Michigan,
Miss Kelley received her Bachelor's of Music Education (with Vocal Emphasis)
from Calvin College and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Vocal Music Education at Wayne
State University.

Patricia Stuart :: General Music Teacher
Pat Stuart teaches General Music classes at the elementary
school level. Mrs. Stuart has been teaching music in Trenton Public Schools
since 1983. Originally from Harrison Township, Michigan, Mrs. Stuart received
her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Eastern
Michigan University.
Peter Kopera :: Band Director
Peter Kopera is the Music Director for the 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Concert
Bands, Arthurs Jazz Band, Music Composition, Jazz Improvisation and World Music Drumming. Mr. Kopera began teaching at Arthurs MS in the Fall of 1998.
Originally from Western New York, Mr. Kopera graduated from the Crane
School of Music. Mr. Kopera also attended the Birmingham
Conservatoire in Birmingham, England and is working towards a Master's
Degree in Music Education at the University
of Michigan. Mr. Kopera composed and recorded the
musical soundtrack to the independent film "An
Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge" and performs regularly throughout
southeastern Michigan with various jazz groups.

Mike Kurilko :: Band Director
Mike Kurilko is the Music Director for the Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Guitar, and annual musical production at Trenton High School as well as 5th Grade Beginning Band. Mr. Kurilko began teaching at Trenton High School in 1987. Originally from West Virginia, Mr. Kurilko is a graduate of West Virginia University and has completed a Master's degree in Music Education at Wayne State University. He is a member of the Monroe Big Band and of the Seaway Chorale Orchestra, both of which he plays trumpet and guitar. Under Mr. Kurilko, the Trenton High Schools bands have performed all over the United States, Canada, and throughout Michigan, earning high honors and awards including top ten placements in state competitions. Nearly 20% of the student enrollment of Trenton High School is involved in Mr. Kurilko's ensembles, classes, and productions each year.
